Pelike

Series of ceramic objects/vases is named after traditional Greek ancient ceramic vessels – Pelike. The artwork is a contemplation over the topic of ceramic figurine. It is tied together with my personal sense of carnality and with a perception of the human body as a vessel. Woman figure is stiffened in a static position and the inner cavity of her hollow corpse, could be filled by a plant. These solitaire ceramic objects are made through the combination of different ceramic materials, and by traditional and also experimental techniques.
